A Workout Challenge – How Many Squats Can You Do Today?

This is going to be interesting and I’m sure will result in some sore legs and an awesome cardio workout. Every Friday for the cardio portion of the Fatloss Quickie Workout Program, Scott challenges us to do 100 squats. You’ll find the video for that workout below (Thanks for sharing that Scott).

    Good morning. Just did my first session of squats. Just to clarify, I’m not using any weights for this. It’s just total squats for the day and believe me, I still have plenty of extra weight I’m carrying around on a regular basis.

    So far I’m up to 150 squats for today. I’m hoping to get in a few more later this morning, but for now that’s all my legs can take.

    Great leg and cardio workout. It didn’t take long to get my heart rate up and start sweating doing these.

    Hey Susanne!

    Glad to see ya joining Scott and Nicole’s challenge… and 150 squats already!? Yikes! I’ve just gotten my first 100 squats in and my legs are noodley already.

    I PLAN to do at least 200 before the end of the day. I must be serious because I have put on my good “lucky marathon” shoes… yes, they have some mileage on them, but they make me feel happy AND they give my back good support while I’m doing my squats.

    So, now I can hop up and do another batch any time, all day, late into the night. I’m going to have to stay up until midnight to compete with some of you folks!

    I guess I don’t even get a break for being (probably) the oldest person in the challenge, eh? No OLD LADY handicap???

    I love the Freezer Cooking ebook prize idea, too! That’s great, Susanne. Very neat!

    Anyway, time to grab another mug of water and get my butt off my chair and do some more squats. :)

    I’m calling it a day! Whew! I did 325 squats. I don’t believe I could squeeze out even one more… those last 25 were quite the challenge!

    You’ll have to carry on without me. ;)

    Congratulations on your splendid “squat-atude” Susanne. You did GREAT! I did get up to 350, with a little last minute nudging, well heckling really, from my grandson. So my grand total was 350. Yikes!

    I was so glad to see the competition heat up. Can’t wait to see what Nicole has in store for us next time! ;)
